How do I enter a trouble ticket on the brookman.com website?

  • Either call 301.515.0450 or email support@brookman.com. You can also click on the blue Brookman icon by your clock and create a new ticket in the web browser that pops up.

How do I access my share folder?

  • The share folder can be accessed by going to My Network Places or it can be accessed by logging in to the Buffalo agent and clicking registered user and then authenticate.

Where is my Buffalo agent?

  • If your Buffalo agent is not turned on when you logon to your computer then you will need to click the red shortcut on your desktop. It is red with two silver links on it. However, when you are not on your office network and are on the vpn, the buffalo agent will not pick up your terastation of linkstation. In the event this happens, check in your My Network Places folder and your drives should be mapped

What does the Brookman Manage Services agent do?

  • The BMS takes tabs on the computer allowing us to remotely access your computer and fix any problems that may arrive.

Why can I not get access to all the folders on our share drive?

  • You may not have access to all of the folders. Your company dictates who has access to each folder.

How do I contact a technician?

  • You may either call at 301.515.0450 Option 3 or email support@brookman.com. You may also click on the BMS agent and click contact administrator.

What are the cards on my computer for?

  • The cards have the support phone number and system IDs on them. When calling in just tell the technician which company you work for and the system ID and they will be able to access your computer.

Why can the technician not remotely access my computer?

  • You may have too many windows open or have too many chat programs on. These being open will conflict with the program and may cause instability within the system.

Why is my computer running slow?

  • You may have too many windows or programs open. These programs use up memory. You may be able to speed up your computer by cleaning up the registry, restarting the computer or shutting down some of the unused windows.
